The study demonstrates that the microtubule‑associated protein WDL4 is essential for PhyB‑dependent thermomorphogenic and photomorphogenic responses in Arabidopsis, as wdl4-3 mutants mimic phyB loss‑of‑function phenotypes under varying temperatures and light conditions.
